About Nourishing Creation

Welcome to Nourishing Creation Journal. This space serves as an unfolding journal exploring the sacred intersections of faith, ecology, and plant-based food systems. Our mission is simple: to cultivate harmony across creation care, stewardship, the soil, and the kitchen.

We are delighted to share that our inaugural issue, Volume 1: The Art of Plant-Based Nourishment, is now live. This opening volume serves as a thoughtful, evidence-led introduction to plant-based living, grounding modern nutritional science in our shared responsibility to care for the earth.

Below, you will find my personal story and the journey that led to the creation of this journal.

Wendy Corbett
Founding Editor & Creative Lead

Wendy is the Founding Editor and Creative Lead of the Nourishing Creation Journal, an independent space dedicated to exploring the thoughtful intersections of faith, ecology, and plant-based food systems. The journal represents a gentle weaving together of the different chapters of her background, combining editorial curation and visual media with a deep commitment to environmental sustainability, animal welfare, and a factual, compassionate exploration of our food systems.

Her earlier career includes directing brand communications for the International Herald Tribune in the Asia-Pacific region, serving as the creative lead for public campaigns and design projects within a local UK government planning department, and serving as a university lecturer and design lead for publishing projects centred around Education for Sustainable Development.

Through Nourishing Creation, she hopes to foster quiet, meaningful conversations and warmly welcomes connections with specialists, researchers, and anyone sharing an interest in these vital fields.
